Tzachi is an ordinary citizen who sought a way to support and assist the war orphans. He conceived the idea of establishing the fund, recruited the professionals, and brought the project to life, entirely on a volunteer basis.

The Idan Fund is part of the "Forum of Funds for Orphans Without Parents," which brings together several organizations and funds (including the Ashur Association, Embraced with Love, the National Insurance Institute, and others) established to support and assist orphans.

While current efforts focus on providing care and support for the immediate needs of these orphans, the Idan Fund looks ahead to ensure support for their future—specifically, their adult lives and the unique needs that arise during that period.

At age 21, the children (and only them) will be able to access the funds saved for them, limited to three specific purposes: education, purchasing a home, or starting a business.

If they do not withdraw the savings, the trust fund will expire at age 30, and the accumulated funds will then be available to the young adults without any conditions, for any purpose they choose.

Until the age of 18, the children will be supported by their adoptive families and by the Israeli government. However, we recognize that they may lack financial support as they begin their adult lives—the kind of support their parents might have wanted and been able to provide. This is where we come in to help fill that gap.
